TASK 4 - V-NECK DRESS

We have learnt about seamless construction in Task 3 and now we're going to build on that skill. The straps we made for the bow bag? We're doing that again just this time a little thinner. Just like the outer and lining layers in the bag our dress has a outer and lining layer. The two new skills we will be learning in Task 4 is (1) Sewing Darts and (2) what it means when a pattern says 'lengthen shorten here'.

Printing:
Please print 'US' if you are based in the US or Canada. For the rest of the world please print 'A4'.

Fabric:
Please refer to the size guide and select your size. Your bust and waist measurement are the most relevant when picking your size because of the fit and style of the dress. When you've selected your size you can use the chart below to determine how much fabric your project requires.

Recommended Fabrics:
Cotton (plain or prints like gingham), Linen, Poplin
